Chelsea receive Aston Villa transfer message after Thomas Tuchel decision.
BirminghamLive brings you the latest Aston Villa news as Chelsea offer Ross Barkley transfer
Chelsea have reportedly offered Aston Villa the opportunity to sign Ross Barkley this summer.
The 28-year-old spent the duration of the 2020/21 campaign on loan at Villa Park, but failed to kick on after a promising start under former boss Dean Smith. And now The Mirror claims that Villa and Everton have both been offered the chance to sign him as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Barkley made just six appearances for Chelsea last season and started on just one occasion as he has fallen down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel. Villa fans on social media have been reacting to the transfer rumour and are in agreement on Twitter.
